Ok, I admit it! I had not got wind debut Reverence before three years for some strange reason. And it’s strange because beyond Todd Michael Hall known by its passage in the band of Jack Starr and collaboration now with Riot V, the band participates and my favorite torturer drums, the Steve ‘Doc’ Wacholz (ex-Savatage) . Anyway, to celebrate the release of their new job I sat and listened and “When Darkness Falls” and putting down two drives, the conclusion is that one must deal with them.

The “Gods Of War” is a pure and honest heavy metal album. The riff from the school of Judas Priest and Accept, but do not end there. If we want to be more precise, you will probably say that approaching the music from the most power side of the thing with influences from both sides of the Atlantic. There’s the riff-case law and the atmosphere pushes more in America, but in the choruses in some tunes looking to Europe and part.

Of the participants now, Todd gives awesome performances and matching glove the kind played by Reverence. The Bryan Holland, known by the passage of a moon by Tokyo Blade (with the assistance of Pete Rossi), will give us some brilliantly and slapdash solo, while the ‘Doc’ along with Michael Massie will be rhythmic concrete, setting solid foundation to step on the other.

There is no weak moment on the disc. The heavy metal playing high quality and based on up tempo pace, but grafted with late passages that make the songs sound more adventurous ear. The feel quality band’s amazing “Angel In Black” with the riff-so and his refrenara and the “Tear Down The Mountain” that reminds you of Savatage in the introduction and followed by a sing-along situation in bridge great vocal melodies. The “Battle Cry” has it all, ermineiara by Michael, terrible disolies and solo dikasato and fast tempo, in short paradise of power metal-d. The disc has a calmer moment, the power ballad “Splinter” so to shed some tones and a little hurt by his guitars … not caught and your neck from the continuous head banging.

There is no reason sentonates track by track analysis here. Certainly not invent the wheel Reverence nor discover any America. But what do the “Gods Of War” doing well. Compositions earn energy and passion and talent Players excess. So, things are simple. If you listen to heavy metal, you hasten to acquire the disc. End of story
