The best heavy metal album of the year. Not only one of the best albums i’ve heard all year. “When darkness calls” is one of the best albums I’ve heard in years. 100% pure Heavy Metal.
Excellent voices and guitars. Killers songs. Epic drums and bass. Just amazing!!! Este disco no tiene desperdicio. Todo lo que esperas de una banda de Heavy Metal está aquí presente. Genial vocalista. Espectaculares guitarras. Bases poderosas. Y lo principal, buenas canciones. Si te gusta el METAL esta banda no te va a decepcionar. Lo mejor que ha salido en años.

1. Reverence – When Darkness Calls
Reverence, a band started by Todd Michael Hall, Bryan Holland, Steve Dr. Killdrums Wacholz, Pete Rossi, and Ned Meloni. “When Darkness Calls” starts with the powerful title track, and ends with the equally enduring “Vengeance is Mine”. I can’t find a time that jamming to this album at volume 11 was not a dream. Every single song on this album, even the thought provoking ballad that is “After the Leaves Have Fallen”, is amazing. This is probably my favorite album of the year, not just for the awesome music, and song crafting skills on every track on this album. You should all pick up this album if you haven’t. Go check out the music video for “Bleed for Me” if you are not satisfied with me just talking about the album. Every track from “Bleed For Me” to “Gatekeeper” and “Price You Pay” are instant classics. My goal next year is to see them live at some point, and I can’t wait to see what this band has in store for us in the future.
