REVIEW

Ready? Go! So it must be born impromptu project called Reverence, involving some well-known names in the U.S. Metal scene, as Todd Hall and Ned Meloni of Burning Starr (of the legendary Jack Starr), Steve “Doc” Wacholz (ex-Savatage among others) and Finally, the pair of guitarists Rossi / Holland (who has played in the English Tokyo Blade), they also certainly not two musicians first coat.
The result? Absolutely fine, in fact, “When Darkness Calls” meets all the requirements that the fan sound of the stars and stripes claims, crystal clear vocals, powerful riffing but attentive to the melody and alternating episodes pulled, like the title track or “Phantom Road “and” Gatekeeper “, with absolutely reasoned and emotional moments.
Particularly noteworthy are the scores of Todd Michael Hall, singer underestimated and misunderstood by many, but with his appearances on the latest efforts of Jack Starr’s Burning Starr showed the appalling extent and his natural interpretation, listen to “Too Late” or alternative “Monster” for yourself!
The debut issue lies in the infinite “limbo” of albums that you may not have the prominence they deserve, but which, in turn, give the listener moments of pure musical ecstasy, given the direct impact and no-frills (but not for this raw or poorly arranged!) that have adopted Reverence for “When Darkness Calls”.
Vicious Rumors approachable to more immediate, the sharp ax of Pete and Bryan create rhythmic parts of growing on well-balanced taste of solos, accompanied by a solid rhythm section and sailed Meloni / Wacholz, the curriculum is well known to all the fans of American Power.
Trusting that Reverence undertake a real activity, detached from their parent band, to applaud one of the highlights of 2012, when the darkness calls, we respond without fear, since Reverence illuminate day our ears!
