Fans of U.S. heavy metal unadulterated attention. When Darkness Calls call.Reverence organizing the call. Reverence? Yes, Reverence. Consists of a number, in the scene, old friends. Best known ex-Savatage drummer Steve Wacholz. Another strong point of the band’s vocalist Todd Michael Hall also at Jack Starr sings. His voice could do with some imagination with that of Midnight (Crimson Glory) and Tobias Sammet.

Do not expect novelties. When Darkness Calls is a, unconscious tribute to bands like Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Savatage, Metal Church and Crimson Glory. A very good tribute, certainly. The eleven tracks are knowledgeable together, have a high rate and are full of choruses that you can belt out the first time though. Gave solos too. Phantom Road Check it out.

No, it is far from original. Implementation, enthusiasm and professionalism make it broadly right. After The Leaves Have Fallen gives me wanted to “ballad” and the lyrics are across the board are very simplistic. In contrast, songs like Too Late, Revoluton Rising and the aforementioned Phantom Road very good. One of the stronger traditional metal plates of 2012 if you ask me.
