Reverence is an American heavy / power metal band, they have two albums and an EP on their account. They have existed since 2010 and they thought the time was right to release this live album in the world, while waiting for a new disc. The members of the band have all well earned their spurs in well-known groups such as Metal Church, Savatage and Tokyo Blade. In 2016 singer and founding member Todd Michael Hall was replaced, this band came in second place after his work at RiotV. Scott Oliva is at least a worthy successor and he cleverly continues the line of his predecessor. Last year their guitarist, Pete Rossi, also died. Two dramatic events, if you ask me. Musically the songs are between Queensrÿche and Savatage, and the twin guitars are reminiscent of the old Judas Priest. Successful compositions, great soloing and clean vocals. You get 15 numbers on this live registration, including two covers. For some Reverence is a super group and I will not deny that. They are talented musicians who give a nice demonstration of their abilities on stage. Nice heavy metal with not too much balls between the songs. This is a successful live recording that will pop a few times through my speakers. Another compliment for the artwork and the production. Let that new drive come!
